Struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues can feel like a lonely and confusing battle. Many people try different ways to feel better, only to find themselves making the same promises and facing the same struggles day after day. Life can become chaotic, affecting family, work, and inner peace. Anxiety often brings constant worry and a sense of being on edge, while depression leaves a lingering sadness and lack of motivation. These challenges can make it hard to regain control and find happiness.
The desire to feel in control again, to trust oneself, and to find simple happiness is strong. Many seek a new approach that will truly work. They don’t have to face this journey alone—help is available.
I became interested in psychology after achieving sobriety. Realizing that others were suffering and that I could assist them led me to change my major from computer science to social work. An internship in 2014 at a practice specializing in substance use disorder confirmed that this was the right path for me. I aim to be part of the solution. The opportunity to be part of such a transformational process is a sacred aspect of my life, and I feel honored when clients choose to work with me.
My experience spans private practices, outpatient clinics, non-profit organizations, and rehab centers. I am also a member of the recovery community. Having seen therapists myself, I understand what it’s like to be on the other side. My own recovery journey has given me valuable insights that I use to help my clients. Listening to my inner voice and observing my clients has led to better outcomes and reinforces my own well-being.
With 24/7 online scheduling and convenient online sessions, I make therapy easy to fit into even the busiest lives. Clients appreciate my compassionate, easy-going nature, and effective strategies for creating the life they desire.
